A full tear-off roof replacement installing a 24-gauge standing seam metal roof in Tudor Brown.
This project began with a full tear-off of the existing metal roof down to the decking, including replacement of 12 sheets of rotted decking discovered during the tear-off.
The new roof was installed as a 24-gauge McElroy standing seam metal system in Tudor Brown, with custom-bent metal ridge, drip edge, and end caps fabricated to match the roofline, over GAF Feltbuster underlayment and GAF StormGuard leak barrier at vulnerable areas.
Additional work included two Attic Breeze solar-powered attic fans, two small chimney flashing kits, new step flashing where the roofline meets the home's walls, stucco repairs at areas where counterflashing had been improperly installed previously, and new 6-inch gutters.
