A full tear-off roof replacement installing GAF Timberline HDZ shingles.
This project began with a full tear-off of the existing roof down to the decking, removing the old shingles and underlayment and pulling all exposed nails before installing the new system.
The new roof was installed with GAF Timberline HDZ shingles over synthetic underlayment, with GAF StormGuard leak barrier at vulnerable areas, new drip edge, and GAF Pro Starter strip shingles along the eaves, finished with GAF Royal Sovereign ridge cap shingles.
Additional work included new step flashing where the roofline meets the home's walls, a Lomanco louver vent and an attic power vent for ventilation, a gable cornice return repair, a rain diverter flashing replacement, a new 6-inch rain cap, and the detachment and reset of an existing satellite dish.
